Description:

From Ladybug Music Festival Website:

The Ladybug Festival is a celebration of women in music. Started in 2012 by Gayle Dillman and Jeremy Hebbel (Gable Music Ventures), the idea was to offer a free to attend alternative to Firefly Festival. Michael and Debbie Schwartz, owners of the popular Shops and Lofts at 2nd & LOMA, engaged Gable Music Ventures to throw a live music block party for their tenants. The timing of the request is what lead to formation of first ever Ladybug Festival featuring an all female lineup of local musicians. The first event was received well, with approximately 300 attendees packing the five indoor venues for entertainment. Sensing the positive response, Gable Music Ventures decided to build upon the event annually, adding out door stages, more artists every year, and nationally known acts. The festival drew an estimated 7,000 attendees in 2016, and 10,000 in 2017 with artist coming from all over the country and even internationally to perform. Thanks to generous sponsorships from businesses like Chase, ShopRite, 2nd & LOMA and more, the event has remained free to attend despite exploding in popularity.

Join us as we welcome over 100 artists to Wilmington, Delaware for the 8th annual Ladybug Music Festival!
