The 2014 DuPont Clifford Brown Jazz Festival is a multi-day, free, outdoor music festival in downtown Wilmington. This festival has been the festival to hear artists perform some of Cliffords work.

Past festival patrons have heard the classic "I Remember Clifford" by Benny Golson, originally penned as a remembrance of his friend. Artists like Chic Corea, Jerry Gonzalez, Pete Escovedo and his orchestra, KEM, Odean Pope Saxophone Choir, Roy Haynes Fountain of Youth Band, HIROMI, Dee Dee Bridgewater, Jonathan Butler, and Lalath Hathaway have all performed here. The DuPont Clifford Brown Jazz Festival is our tribute to this great man and a way to keep his memory alive. 2013 marked the twentyfith year of a multi-day jazz festival in downtown Wilmington, and since its inception in 1989 we have worked hard to bring world-class musicians to Wilmington in the month of June.

To commemorate the 20th anniversary of Clifford's birth (he was born on October 30, 1930), the State of Delaware created an historic landmark in Wilmington.
