The BOWERS BEACH BUCCANEER BASH will take you back to the late 17th & early 18th centuries through historical presentations and demonstrations. You will discover the myths and realities associated with the lives of the pirate men and women in Bowers Beach and on the Delaware Bay. Pirate Crewes will recreate the days of pirates via period costumes, accoutrements and activities. Listen to local pirate lore, literature and folk tales; See a cannon, black powder and period weapons demonstration; Watch the preparation of pirate foods and beverages; Take a pirate cruise aboard the Captain's Lady; Purchase clothing, jewelry and other souvenirs representative of the time.
