| Description: | Family Expo planned for Delaware A new resource for Delaware Parents will debut at the spectacular Chase Center on the Riverfront on Saturday, March 6, 2010. The Delaware Family Expo will offer first state families an opportunity to discover resources that will strengthen, enlighten, encourage and entertain their children and families at the daylong expo. The Expo is designed to provide area consumers with one stop access to the most respected local, state and national companies and organizations that specialize in childrenâs products and services. According to Chris Baker, Owner and Event Producer of Landmark Event Management (producers of the Expo), âAt the Delaware Family Expo you will see the latest products and services, styles and ideas for your family with hands on demonstrations, free samples, and on-site product demonstrations.â Baker noted, âWe anticipate the exhibitor base to be diverse and comprehensive ranging from clothing and room décor, to schools, summer camps and educational opportunities, from healthcare to family safety and everything in between and on the fringes. A seminar and entertainment stage, costumed characters and many special surprises are also plannedâ In addition to the Family Expo, the Chase Center will also be hosting the Delaware Home Show the entire weekend. âIn todayâs busy world,â Baker, a foster care provider for over 15 years added, âfamilies do not have the time to research, schedule and visit every option available to them.
